Possible Developments...
In the future, if the scientists had a chance to do this experiment over again there are several changes to be made. They could further explore the differences between authentic and synthetic fabrics and how these differences would effect their flame resistant qualities. Next time, larger amounts of fabrics could be used, as opposed to the small strings and strips used for this experiment. With larger pieces of fabrics the scientists could develop *safe flame resistant equipment. If the size of the fabrics being test were increased, then at the same time the ratio of isopropyl alcohol to water must be changed also (to adapt to the new sizes). Essentially, future experimentation would require human subjects and a simulated fire for better results.
