Procedure
1) Gather all the Materials in a neat area
2) In the tin bowl, combine 3 Tablespoons of rubbing alcohol and 1 Tablespoon of water together.
3) Take a strip of fabric and dip it into the mixture, make sure its completely soaked. Using the Tongs, remove the fabric from the mixture.
5) Hold on to one end of the fabric with the tongs, and using a lighter light the bottom of the fabric. The fabric should start to burn for a few seconds but should extinguish seconds later.
6) Don’t forget to time your procedure
7) When the flame is completely extinguished, it is safe to touch it and you may record your observations and data.
8) Repeat steps 3-7 for the other pieces of fabrics also.
